21/07/11 Exhibition - "4th Videoholica International Video Art Festival", Varna, Bulgaria.

My short film "The Life and Times" (2006) has been selected for the 4th Videoholica Video Art Festival in Varna Bulgaria. The film can be viewed here.

The festival runs from 5th - 12th August and is held at a number of venues, more details can be found below.

 

14/07/11 Exhibition - "Chain Letter", Golden Parachutes, Berlin, Germany.

I have a piece of work in the Berlin arm of the "Chain Letter" project - thanks to artist Maura Jasper

More details:

"Chain Letter" is a global group show wherein 10 artists have been invited to participate. Th
ose 10 then invite 10 artists that they admire. Those 10 invite 10 more and so on. This cycle continues for 30 days.

 

The result is an exponentially massive, artist-curated group show based entirely on admiration. We hope every admired artist on the planet will be included in "Chain Letter" this summer.

05/11/10 Exhibition - "VAFA 2010 (Video Art for All)", Orient Foundation, Macau S.A.R.

My short film "The Ultimate City" (2010) will be screened as part of the VAFA video art festival held at The Orient Foundation, Casa Garden, Macau. The festival and exhibition 

is jointly organised by AFA Macau and The Orient Foundation.


My work will be presented as part of the "Reality Show" showreel which will be

creened at 6:30pm on Saturday 13th, Tuesday 23rd and Tuesday 30th November 2010. 

11/10/10 Exhibition - "Instructions for Initial Conditions", Drift Station, Lincoln, Nebraska

"The initial condition a term used in Chaos Theory refers to a simple starting point that, when the system is set into motion, is radically transformed into an unpredictable result.  “Instructions for Initial Conditions” is the result of an international open call for instructions which will be exhibited as artworks.  The viewer will be prompted to engage with the instructions on display, ones which describe the initial condition by which something (a work of art, or something other) can be made or enacted.

Each work was limited to an emailed file that could be printed on an 8.5 x 11” sheet of paper. The call itself served as an initial condition and brought varied unforeseen results that surprised, delighted, and challenged. We received work from over 125 artists, with all 7 continents represented.  The works run the gamut from computer code to a modified German recipe for gingerbread".


The exhibition runs from 5th - 29th November 2010.
