Positioning himself as the witness (and author) of Hong Kong's decline and the architect of its rebirth, Thomson explores notions of permanence and the tension between personal myth making and "official" histories.
Through drawings, painting and collage Thomson investigates his personal relationship with Hong Kong creating alternative narratives and visual orders.
